WINDOWS IN THE CITY

Anita had a habit of counting windows on the walk to school as a child. That habit continued into adulthood and she knew the number of windows in every house on the way to college from her apartment. Maybe every window held a story to her, maybe…..but they kept her occupied all through the long walks. Every window had a specialty, either the color or the design or just how many there were on every wall! These paintings are influenced by everything around the windows, maybe a red car was always parked in the driveway just under the window, maybe the porch has wrought iron work next to the windows that stood out, may be the curtains left an everlasting impression on her mind or maybe there was this creeper that defied all laws of gravity to climb up that house and reach that window.
